Chiba Works

Located in the Keiyo Industrial Zone on the outskirts of the Tokyo metropolis, the Chiba Works is the first bayside, integrated steelmaking facility of post-World War II in Japan. The site covers about 8.7 million square meters.

As part of Kawasaki Steel's long-term vision, the Chiba Works was modernized to meet the high-level and diverse needs of clients and to make operations more resource- and manpower-efficient as possible. The Chiba Works will be Kawasaki Steel's internationally competitive facility of the 21st century.
