Hajime Bada, President and CEO of JFE Holdings,
Named Chairman of World Steel Association

Tokyo – JFE Holdings, Inc. announced that its president and CEO, Hajime Bada, has been named chairman of the World Steel Association for the 2010/2011 term on October 6th. He was elected to the position at the association’s 44th annual conference held in Tokyo.

The World Steel Association is one of the largest and most dynamic industry associations in the world, representing some 180 steel producers, national and regional steel industry associations, and steel research institutes.
