JFE Updates Basic Policy on Human Rights

JFE Holdings announced today that it has updated its JFE Group Basic Policy on Human Rights, first introduced in 2018, to further strengthen its commitments in light of evolving global awareness of human rights and related issues.

JFE believes that respect for human rights is not only a corporate social responsibility but also foundational part of the company, as reflected in its Corporate Action Guidelines, which clearly state that the JFE group shall not engage in any form of discrimination in corporate activities.

Going forward, JFE will continue to advance initiatives for the respect of human rights among all of the company’s stakeholders, including suppliers, customers and employees, with the aim of realizing a global society in which human rights are fully respected and protected.
