DX REPORT 2025
The JFE Group uses its extensive “operational data and know-how” and the “technologies developed across its wide range of operations,” accumulated over many years of business, to drive business reform and innovation in production and operational processes via digital transformation (DX).
This report introduces our group’s digital transformation (DX) initiatives, including the DX strategies of each company under the Eighth Medium-term Business Plan (FY2025-2027). These initiatives include developing DX talent who understand actual operations and can integrate them with digital technologies, as well as group-wide efforts to strengthen cybersecurity against increasingly serious and sophisticated cyberattacks.

DX REPORT 2024
JFE's greatest strength in promoting digital transformation (DX) is the vast amount of data and know-how that the company has accumulated in its steel, engineering and trading businesses over many years. JFE's 7th Medium-term Business Plan has positioned digital transformation (DX) as one of the key strategies underpinning the most significant transition that JFE has attempted since its founding, with the goal of steadily increasing the company's value over the medium to long term. This report both introduces and summarizes the to-date results of JFE's recent initiatives to leverage advanced technology for the group's digital transformation (DX), including aggressively taking on new challenges and strategically strengthening key existing businesses. JFE's current business plan to March 2025 is designed to steadily increase the company's corporate value over the medium to long term. Recognizing that JFE is faced with the greatest transformation since its founding, the plan positions DX as a key strategy for achieving this transformation. We hope that this report helps readers to develop a deeper understanding of JFE's bold DX initiatives.

The JFE Group is proactively using data and digital technologies to rebuild our earnings strength and sustainably enhance our corporate value. With a key strategy of digital transformation (DX), we are currently increasing the value of our products and services for customers, and dramatically increasing productivity in all segments of the value chain.
To disseminate the broad range of the JFE Group's competitive and defensive activities in the digital field, from fiscal 2020, we have renamed the previous IT Report as the DX Report and expanded its content.
We hope that readers will find the information in this report useful and that it will help them gain a fuller understanding of our DX initiatives.

IT REPORT 2019
IT Report 2019, which reviews the IT strategies and initiatives of JFE, is available in digital format on the JFE website and as a printed booklet.
By confirming the concreate initiatives being undertaken by the company based on its IT strategies, we hope that this report enables customers, shareholders, investors and other stakeholders to better understand how JFE is actively deploying IT to meet its business objectives.

IT REPORT 2018
IT Report 2018, which reviews the IT strategies and concreate initiatives of JFE, is the first report on IT performance ever published in the Japanese steel industry. It is available as a printed booklet and in a digital format on our website.
By announcing the initiatives we are undertaking based on our IT strategies, we hope that this report will enable all stakeholders, including customers, shareholders and other investors, to better understand JFE's proactive deployment of IT for business.
