This report both introduces and summarizes the to-date results of JFE’s recent initiatives to leverage advanced technology for the group’s digital transformation (DX), including aggressively taking on new challenges and strategically strengthening key existing businesses. JFE’s current business plan to March 2025 is designed to steadily increase the company’s corporate value over the medium to long term. Recognizing that JFE is faced with the greatest transformation since its founding, the plan positions DX as a key strategy for achieving this transformation. We hope that this report helps readers to develop a deeper understanding of JFE’s bold DX initiatives.
